Susan Farrell Egan (born Februrary 18, 1970) is an American actress and singer, known for her role as Belle in the 1994 musical Beauty and the Beast. She is also known for the voice of Megara in the 1997 Disney film, Hercules.

Career

Egan gained international theatre recognition as a Broadway actress for becoming the first actress to portray Belle on Broadway in the stage production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in 1994. For her performance, she was nominated for a Tony Award.
